What is
The Shop Docs?
We are a volunteer organization that partners with barbers combat the health disparities that affect our minority communities. We are changing the delivery of healthcare by bringing health information and resources to the shop.
Why does
this program matter?
Minorities, particularly black minorities, suffer from heart disease and high blood pressure more than any other group. However, traditional medicine has failed to address this! We want to be part of the solution.
